Eight start-ups change the future of the car

Beginning with Vizen Analytics, their software solution can identify all kinds of geopolitical events – a war, a revolution, an economic crisis – and through artificial intelligence predict,
among other things, the future cost increase of supplier raw materials. For whom in these months Vizen’s customers may have found themselves having to manage unexpected events related to gas and energy. The software developed
by Vizen Analytics is very valuable in helping automotive companies to avert current supply chain disruptions. The software was developed in Walla Walla, Washington, and recently launched to the world market.
The founder Greg Foster chose to come to Modena, Italy. Why would he travel so far? Because here (in Italy) is the heart of entrepreneurship linked to the best engines and the creator of world class automobiles. Foster
considers America to be part of his focus as well, as he does not intend to grow only into the Italian market. But there is also another reason, even more important for those who, like him, have recently launched an innovative
start-up.
It is called the Motor Valley Accelerator, which is based in the shadow of the Ghirlandaio, and rightly these days he completed the acceleration program of companies in the premiere motor sector. This is the second edition of the program funded by Venture Capital, the CDP of Italy and, UniCredit bank in the Foundation of Modena. The direction is entrusted to Plug and Play, one of the major innovation platforms founded in California with aim to connect with each other early-stage investors, start-ups and large companies. Additionally, the program includes the support of CRIT, a company specializing in the development of research projects. Out of hundreds of applicants received last year, Plug and Play and Crit have selected eight startups that have been admitted to the acceleration phase including Vizen Analytics. which we have already mentioned, Inventio.ai trained for six months in Modena as well, which developed a software to ‘talk’ with the machines easily and at through artificial intelligence train the people who work in the production that they do time, they can teach the machine what actions to perform. The startup Recarbon has also been selected, which deals with the management of the disposal of waste, flawed or damaged parts based on carbon fiber. Fast Charge Engineering (FCE) proposes, on the other hand, a cooling system for battery packs to guarantee high power densities.
It is aimed at the world of racing motors the project by Racing Teams App it proposes a management platform for rule any aspect a team faces during a race weekend. HMDrive has devised a software system for augmented reality viewers useful to create graphic content in the particular context of the passenger compartment of a vehicle. Galvani Power’s mission is to offer modular brick-based solutions for the assembly of lithium-ion batteries Finally the startup GedyTrass has developed a software to speed up procedures and allow mechanical designers to easily repeat simulations in the beginning of a project while saving time and avoiding mistakes cost you. After the selection, a contribution was made to each project of 100 thousand euros and access to a specialized training course.

At the end of the training course the eight star-ups will present their entrepreneurial project for investors and experts.
